AIChE: American Institute of Chemical Engineers

placeholder

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 50,000 members from over 100 countries. Membership provides students with insight into the latest technology in the chemical engineering field, connect with a global network of colleagues and find extracurricular educational opportunities.

Chartered in 1963, Manhattan College’s AIChE chapter participates in several annual events, such as the Chem-E-Car Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference and the Battle of Brains event on campus. The club also coordinates trips to local manufacturing complexes to see firsthand how complex products are made.

How to Join

All students are welcome to join, but chemical engineering majors will benefit most from membership. Sign up at the biannual activities and volunteer fair which happens at the start of each fall and spring semester, or contact the club directly at aiche@manhattan.edu.
